A dead body of a woman with multiple stabbed wounds was found on 4 August 2015 in a pit in an abandoned front garden around 300 meters from a house in the town of Gorokhovets.

The Vladimir Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee launched a criminal investigation in a crime under part 1 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder).

The investigators are checking the version that the dead woman is the mother of Oleg Belov, the father of children whose remains were found on 4 August 2015 in a flat in Nizhny Novgorod. However, the body can be identified only after a forensic inquiry.

Investigators and criminalists of the Investigative Committee are working at the scene.
