Schoolgirl murder suspect detained in Bashkortostan

The Bashkortostan investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have detained a 36-year-old resident of the city of Ufa suspected of killing an 11-year-old girl (paragraph “c” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code).

Investigators and criminalists did hard and careful job to identify the suspect. During the investigation of the crime scene and examination of the body they found and seized a lot of objects. Experts and criminalists of the Central Office of the Russia’s Investigative Committee processed them for the evidence in the shortest possible time using latest technologies and cutting-edge forensic equipment. This way they found that the 36-year-old man, previously convicted of sexual abuse, was involved in the crime.

It was reported earlier, that the 11-year-old girl from Sovetsky district of Ufa went to school on 21 September 2015. Her mother when came to pick her up after school, learned that the girl had not been in school and in the evening the girl’s body with signs of violent death was found.

The operative services had the order to detain the suspect and deliver him to investigating bodies. At present, the suspect is detained and investigative operations are going to be conducted with him. The investigators are gathering materials to make a request of restraint. The investigation is ongoing.
