The Major Investigations Directorate of the Russian’s Investigative Committee continues investigation against Head of the Republic of Komi Vyacheslav Gayzer and his deputy Alexey Chernov and other members of the criminal community (article 210 and 159 of the RF Penal Code).

The investigators revealed facts of laundering the money stolen by the members of the criminal community, which they among others withdrawn to offshore companies abroad disguised as dividends. A criminal case was opened against Cyacheslav Gayzer, Alexander Zarubin, Valery Veselov, Alexey Chernov and other people over a crime under paragraphs “a” and “b” of part 4 of article 174.1 of the RF Penal Code (money laundering on a very large scale by an organized group).

Criminal cases over fraud and money laundering have been joined in a single law suit.

At present, urgent investigative and search operations to reveal all crimes committed by the criminal group.
