Man suspected of killing Alexander Glovyak detained in Moscow

The Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee is investigating a criminal case over a crime under part 4 of article 111 of the RF Penal Code (grievous bodily harm entailing death of the victim).

According to investigators, in the afternoon of 16 December 2015, the dead body of Alexander Glovyak with signs of violent death of an open head injury was found in a flat in Novogireyevskaya street in Moscow.

Today, the operatives who are assisting the investigation held a 25-year-old resident of the city of Kazan. He was taken to the investigations department, where he is now being questioned by the investigators of the Moscow Main Investigations Directorate. The investigators are going to check if the man was involved in the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
