The Major Cases Directorate of the Investigative Committee continues investigating a criminal case into Part 3 of Article 200.2 of the RF Penal Code over illegal transportation of a large amount of alcohol through the border of the Customs Union without paying mandatory customs duty.

The charges have been pressed against CEO of Forum holding companyDmitry Mikhalchenko, deputy CEO of the same company Boris Korevsky, deputy CEO of KontReil Logistic Severo-Sapad, public corporation, Anatoly Kindzersky and CEO of Southeastern Trade Company Ilya Pichko.

Searches were conducted today in the Federal Customs Service including the office of its director Andrei Belyaninov, his deputies Davydov and Strukov and in the residence of the service’s director.

In addition, searches have also been conducted in the residence and the office of Sergei Lobanov, president of Arsenal Insurance Company , who is also the founder of at least 15 firms closely connected with the Federal Customs Service.

During the raids investigators confiscated objects and documents relevant for the probe.
