On August 10, 2016 Alexander Bastrykin held reception of citizens in Moscow. During the personal reception of the Chairman of the RF Investigative Committee, he met citizens of Udmurtia, Bashkortostan and Crimea, the city of Saint-Petersburg, Regions of Novgorod and Ulyanovsk, as well as Krasnodar Territory.

Most of the complaints received by the Chairman at the personal reception referred to the procedural decisions on criminal cases pending in the investigative agencies of the Investigative Committee.

Following the results of personal reception, Alexander Bastrykin gave specific instructions to the heads of a number of regional investigating bodies of the Investigative Committee.  Investigation of all complaints was taken under personal control of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
