Alexander Bastrykin goes to Stavropol Territory for working visit

Chairman of the RF Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has today visited the Lieutenant General of Justice Mikhail Yadrov school No 24 in the city of Stavropol to open the cadet swearing-in ceremony for the 8th cadet class of the Investigative Committee.

The ceremony was attended by Vice Chairmen of the Investigative Committee Boris Karnaukhov and Ilya Lazutov, heads of investigative offices for constituent territories of North Caucasian Federal District, veterans of investigation profession and representatives of authorities and the public.

Mr. Bastrykin said that from childhood the life of each of the Russian people is associated with serving to the Fatherland and loyalty to it. He congratulated the cadets on this important event and wished that they worshiped and increased best traditions of cadetship and investigative profession and that they had success in studies and sports. The Chairman urged the young people to pay respect to veterans, parents, to be the support for their families, school and to be a model of decency and patriotism.

After the cadets took the oath, Mr. Bastrykin, guests of honor and cadets commemorated Lieutenant General of Justice Mikhail Yadrov and laid flowers to his pedestal.

20 cadets swore to be loyal to the traditions of cadetship and the Fatherland.

The ceremony finished with the march of cadets and a photo session with guests of honor.

Later in the day, the Chairman held a briefing where he heard reports on the progress and results of some investigations being conducted by the North Caucasian Federal District Directorate of the Investigative Committee and investigative offices for constituent territories of North Caucasian and Southern Federal Districts. Following the meeting, Mr. Bastrykin gave a number of explicit orders about the direction of the investigations, identification and search for all those involved in the crimes.
