On Yamal, managers of three companies suspected of about 60 million rubles worth of overdue wages

The Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area Office of the Investigative Committee has opened investigations against top managers of three companies suspected of crimes under Part 2 of Article 145.1 of the RF Penal Code (failure to pay wages for more than two months committed out of mercenary or any other personal interests).

According to investigators, top managers of OOO PurGazStroy, a limited liability company that works Yety-Purovskoye gas field, did not pay wages to workers for more than two months. According to preliminary information, the sum of the debt is more than 17 million rubles by now.

There are the same situations going on two more deposits. At Yarodeisky gas condensate deposit, managers of OOO TrestSevZapSpetsStroyMontazh did not pay more than 3 million rubles of wages to their workers engaged in construction from January to November 2016. At Novoportovsky deposit, managers of ZAO PG Promindustria, owes their workers more than 38 million rubles of wages for more than two months which caused considerable violations of workers’ legal rights.

At present, investigative operations are underway to find out all the circumstances surrounding the incidents. Documents of companies relevant for the investigation are being confiscated, while the assets of the companies are being evaluated. The investigators are going to check the exact sum of the debt and the number of unpaid workers, as well as to see if the managers of the companies had any real opportunity to pay the wages. The investigation is ongoing.
