Probe finished in minor bodily harm done to teenage girl at shopping mall parking lot

The Moscow Directorate of the Investigative Committee has finished the investigation against 17-year-old girl. She is charged with deliberate infliction of minor bodily harm under Part 1 of Article 115 and violation of privacy under Part 1 of Article 137 of the RF Penal Code.

According to investigators, on the evening of 2 November 2016, the accused and two of her friends came to a parking lot near a shopping mall in Prospekt Mira in Moscow. There they beat a 14-year-old girl because of jealousy. The footage of the beating was illegally posted online resulting in violation of the victim’s privacy.

It was established and confirmed by conclusions of forensic inquiries that the minor bodily harm done to the victim was inflicted by the 17-year-old accused. Other two girls are too young to be criminally liable, but they will be registered with law-enforcement authorities.

The investigators have enough evidence, so the criminal case has been sent for the indictment to be signed.

Apart from parties to the conflict there was also a 22-year-old woman at the parking lot who was taking a video of the fight. She was charged with violation of privacy under Part 1 of Article 137 of the RF penal Code and the probe against her has been finished and criminal materials have been sent for the indictment to be signed.
