A freight train collided with a school minibus with 10 children on board today at 02:00 PM on a railway crossing in Novovarshavka District. As a result, a minibus driver and one adult have died in a crash, 6 children have been hospitalized, their lives are out of danger.

The Omsk Region Office of the Investigative Committee has launched a probe in providing services that do not meet safety requirements, which lead to death of two persons, under Part 3 of Article 238 of the RF Penal Code.

The most experienced investigators and forensic experts of the Regional Office have been dispatched to the scene to find all consequences surrounding the incident.
