Investigative Committee Chairman orders taking control over check into battery of child by mother of his peer in Moscow

Chairman of the Investigative Committee has ordered the Moscow Directorate to take under control a check into beating a child by mother of his peer in Moscow.

Some mass media published reports on the incident. According to journalists on 29 May, the mother of a child beat a 5th-grader because he had pushed her child over a ball. The child suffered a close brain injury and bruises. The authors of the report got on saying that the mother threatened to kill the child saying that she had friends among law-enforcers who can make it so that nobody would ever know about his death.

The files of the check are going to be requested from the police. Investigators are now looking in all the circumstances of the incident. They have identified all the parties of the conflict and its witnesses, and have questioned them and the victim’s parents. They are now preparing documents to order a forensic medical examination. Following the check, the investigators are going to give legal assessment to the actions of the woman.
