Investigative Committee Chairman meets director of Gorky Academic Arts Theater of Moscow

Alexander Bastrykin has met Tatyana Doronina at the Gorky Academic Arts Theater of Moscow to discuss the importance of cultural events for the moral education and instilling patriotism in employees of the Investigative Committee. They reached a conclusion that a cooperation agreement was needed.

A year ago the Committee concluded a similar agreement with director of the State Academic Maly Theater of Russia. Over that time, they held joint artistic and cultural events, including those from which our employees take strength to do their not easy job.

The work of the investigator is known to require maximum concentration and resistance to stress as it suggests not only high mental and physical, but first of all emotional strain. At the same time, its other special feature is that even outside their office investigators keep thinking about their work, building logic chains, restoring the events time after time, untangling a case looking for a clue. It is obvious that working constantly at such a pace will sooner or later may have a negative effect on their work. This way, for quite objective reasons employees of the Investigative Committee are somewhat limited in both emotional release and access to cultural events. Therefore, the Investigative Committee has developed and is running a cultural program for investigators to provide them with entertainment and to maintain their moral standards and instill patriotism.

As part of the meeting Ms. Doronina expressed solidarity with Mr. Bastrykin on great importance of cooperation between the Theater and the Investigative Committee. The parties assured each other of mutual support.
