Alexander Bastrykin orders central office to take control over probe into illegal keeping of teenager in Moscow Region

A TV channel has showed a coverage of a conflict between residents of the village of Vyalki, Ramenskoye District, Moscow Region and a 15-year-old girl that happened in 2015. In the summer of 2015, the 15-year-old and her friends were at a playground when an SUV drove into it and aggressive man and woman got out of the vehicle. The girl tried to run away, but the couple followed her. They shoved her into the vehicle, blocked the doors, threatened her and drove away. They then took the girl to her home and passed on to her parents. This way the couple reportedly wanted to punish the girl for having thrown a plastic bottle into the head of their son. The journalists gave other examples of couple’s aggressive behavior and possible beating of the girl.

The Moscow Region Directorate of the Investigative Committee has opened an investigation in illegal deprivation of liberty of an underage person under Part 2, paragraph “e” of Article 127 of the RF Criminal Code. An inspectorate cancelled several decisions of the investigation.
