Alexander Bastrykin gives school leaving certificates to graduates of Alexander Nevsky cadet school of Investigative Committee

Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has given school leaving certificates to graduates of the Alexander Nevsky Cadet School of the Investigative Committee today at the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Mount.

The ceremony was attended by director of the Cadet School and Hero of the Soviet union Igor Zaporozhan, head of the education office of the Investigative Committee and Hero of the Russian Federation Sergei Patrov, president of the interregional NGO Outstanding Military and Naval Commanders of the Fatherland and State Advisor of Justice Alexander Sukharev, chair of the presidium of the National Association of Investigation Veterans and Union of Investigation Veterans, member of the Cadet School’s council of trustees Vladimir Dontsov, people’s artist of the USSR and Honored Chairman of the Cadet School’s council of trustees Vasily Lanovoi, Hero of the Russian Federation and deputy head of the Moscow Interregional Military and Patriotic Movement Yunarmia’s headquarters Gevork Isakhanyan, other representatives of artistic unions and NGOs, teachers and cadets and their relatives.

Opening the ceremony, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee congratulated the graduates, their parents and teachers of the Cadet School on the school leaving certificates. Speaking to the cadets, Mr. Bastrykin wished them to go a straight way to their goal, reminded those wanting to enter the Investigative Committee’s Academy about exams which require focus and preparation: “You have to prove that you deserve those certificates when you take the exams at the Investigative Committee’s Academy.”

The Chairman thanked veterans who despite their old age are still actively work with the younger generation, and trustees and NGOs for their support and patriotic education they provide to the youth. He specially mentioned work done by the administration of the Cadet School, its teachers, educators, the parents’ committee and thanked them for the tireless efforts they make to education and raise the cadets.

Director of the Cadet School Igor Zaporozhan also congratulated the graduates noting their successes: “Half of the graduates got good and excellent marks; 9 out of 10 passed mathematics and Russian language state exams getting good and excellent grades, 8 out of 10 graduates got high points in social science. Olga Berezina and Yulia Yevteyeva confirmed by their exam results gold and silver medals they got for successful studying at school. These bare figures hide daily meticulous and sometimes undeservingly criticized work of teachers.”

Vasily Lanovoi, Alexander Sukharev, Vladimir Dontsov and other guests of honor also congratulated the cadets and wished them further success.

In conclusion, the Mr. Bastrykin awarded the graduates, who passed GTO (Ready for labor and Defense) tests, the badges of the All-Russian Fitness and Sports Complex Ready for Labor and Defense.

He also awarded teachers medal For Assistance, presents, letters of commendations for honest work and high level of professionalism and presented letters of commendations to distinguished graduates.
