Following order of Alexander Bastrykin, investigation in bus crash in Moscow taken over by Investigative Committee’s Head Office

Yesterday, a bus left a road in Moscow and crashed into a pedestrian underpass near Slavyansky Boulevard metro station leaving four people dead and more than 10 injured. The Moscow Directorate of the Investigative Committee opened an investigation in unsafe services and breach of the road code under Part 2 of Article 238 and Article 264 of the RF Criminal Code.

Following order of Alexander Bastrykin the investigation has been taken over by the Head Office of the Investigative Committee. The best trained investigators and criminalists are working on the case.  

A number of expert examinations have been ordered while all necessary investigative operations are ongoing. The incident will be given a proper legal assessment to prevent similar accidents. The investigation continues.
