The Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation is investigating a murder of a woman in the South-West of Moscow (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia).

As it was reported earlier, in the evening of November 6, 2018, body of a woman born in 1966 had been found in an elevator of a residential building on Znamenskie Sadki Street by her neighbours. Having examined the body, the investigators had found more than 10 knife wounds.

A suspect was detained following well-coordinated investigative activities. He is a man born in 1991. He is being checked for involvement in a number of other crimes.

At present, the detainee has been taken to the investigation department to conduct investigative actions, as a result of which the man will be charged and preventive measure elected. The criminal investigation is ongoing.
