Based on the verdict of the jury, Anatoly Bykov was found guilty of organization of a double murder

The evidence collected by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Region and the Republic of Khakassia was found sufficient to sentence Anatoly Bykov. He was found guilty of committing an offense under Article 17, Paragraphs H and L of Article 102 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (organization of murder of two persons).

The investigation and the court found that in June 1994 Anatoly Bykov organized murders of people from his inner circle - Alexander Naumov and Kirill Voitenko whom he suspected of committing of his own attempted murder by explosive device on June 18, 1994 near the building of the concert and dancing hall on Predmostnaya square in Krasnoyarsk. On July 24, 1994 Naumov and Voitenko were killed near house 9 on Koltsevaya Street in Krasnoyarsk by members of the Tatarenkov gang with an assault rifle and a TT pistol. 

At the request of Anatoly Bykov the criminal case was tried by a jury.

Taking into account the jury's guilty verdict, the court found Anatoly Bykov guilty of organizing the murders of Naumov and Voytenko. He was sentenced to 13 years' imprisonment to be served in a minimum security penal colony.

In addition, the investigation authorities are currently investigating the criminal cases against Anatoly Bykov for committing crimes under Part 4 of Article 33, Part 2 of Article 105 (incitement to murder for hire), Part 4 of Article 33, Part 3 of Article 30, Paragraphs A, H of Part 2 of Article 105 (incitement to murder for hire), Part 2 of Article 198 (tax evasion on a particularly large scale), and suspicion of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of Russia (organization of a criminal community or participation in it).
