The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed to resolve the issue of withdrawing from court a petition to terminate the criminal case against teenagers suspected of vandalism at the memorial complex in Sevastopol

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the Head of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol Terentyev V.N. to withdraw the petition from the court to terminate the criminal case against minors suspected of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code of Russia (vandalism). In addition, Alexander Bastrykin instructed to transfer the criminal case to the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The head of the Committee demanded to fully investigate this criminal case and in accordance with the law to send it to court for consideration on the merits.
