The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia gave a number of instructions to the head of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the Head of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol V. N. Terentyev to report on the verification of information from social networks and the media about the violation of the rights of a disabled child when traveling by air. In the course of social media monitoring on September 8 this year, it was revealed that a flight attendant did not allow a resident of Yekaterinburg, who was flying from Simferopol to Yekaterinburg with her 10-year-old disabled son who suffered from a severe form of cerebral palsy, to board the plane with a special seat needed for the boy. During the flight, the mother had to hold her son on her lap for more than three hours. However, as noted by a resident of the Sverdlovsk region, previously she and the child did not have such problematic situations when flying.

In addition, the head of the regional office was instructed to report on the verification of information from the media about violations of the rights of residents of a dormitory in the city of Kerch, including a mother with many children with disabilities. The media reported that the dormitory was in an emergency condition, repairs were not completed, the electrical wiring was not insulated, and the facade of the building was crumbling. In confirmation of this, the media provides the relevant photos. For many years, tenants, including pensioners and families with young children, have been in correspondence with authorized bodies regarding the improvement of their homes, but the situation has not changed for the better.

The progress of the pre-investigative probes is supervised by the Central Office of the Investigative Committee.
