The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Kamchatka Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia A.V. Lipalo to initiate a criminal investigation into the rape of a 17-year-old girl in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. On October 18 the mother of the victim informed the law-enforcement bodies about sexual violence committed against a minor. According to the complainant, her minor daughter, who is a disabled child, was raped on October 5 during a walk. The progress of fulfillment of the instruction is to be supervised by the Central Office of the Committee.

In addition, in connection with the published appeal of a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region to the leadership of the Investigative Committee of Russia with a request to assess the road accident, which injured an elderly woman, Alexander Bastrykin instructed the head of the Rostov Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Khuade A. G. to report on the ongoing assessment into this case. The probe materials were received by the Rostov Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia from the police. The progress of the probe is under the supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
