During a work trip to St. Petersburg, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin visited the department's Boarding School for Girls.
As part of the meeting, the head of the department discussed with Headmistress of the Boarding School for Girls of the IC of Russia Elena Yurievna Garanina the issues of material and technical status of the educational institution and, in particular, issues related to the further round-the-clock accommodation of the students.
The boarding school headmistress reported on organizing the educational process, which is currently performed remotely amid the challenging sanitary and epidemiological situation. She explained that the provided educational services were of high quality, and that the students had more time for self-education due to the remote format.
The Chairman of the IC of Russia instructed to continue taking the required measures aimed at ensuring the students' safety, while maintaining a high level of control over the educational process.
During the meeting with Headmistress of the Boarding School for Girls of the IC of Russia E. Yu. Garanina and Head of the Cultural Center of the IC of Russia M. D. Krasnopeeva, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee noted that the Boarding School was a solid foundation for teaching the students in the spirit of patriotism, as well as respect for the history and culture of their homeland. A. I. Bastrykin also reminded about the importance of strengthening officer traditions and continuity in the profession, which will reliably facilitate further training and service in the Investigative Committee and other law enforcement agencies. The head of the department stressed that due to the creation of departmental educational institutions, it was possible to educate a new generation of worthy investigators adhering to basic principles of honesty, firmness, and responsibility in their work.
