Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin visited the Girls' Boarding School of the Investigative Committee of Russia and congratulated the students and staff on the recent International Women's Day.
The solemn event was attended by Director of the Girls' Boarding School Elena Yuryevna Garanina, Head of the Cultural Center of the IC of Russia Maria Dmitrievna Krasnopeeva and employees of the department.
Opening the ceremony, Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin congratulated all attending ladies and girls on the recent International Women's Day. In his address to the students, Alexander Ivanovich emphasized the key points in the formation of personality. Motivating the girls, the Chairman said that the woman's role was very important in the modern society. The department head thanked the female part of the team for their significant contribution to the operation of the IC of Russia, hard work for the good of the Fatherland, as well as for warmth and patience.
At the same time, the Chairman stressed that the students should correctly understand what was happening in the country and the world. Speaking about the foreign policy situation, he noted that “in difficult times, true patriots of the Fatherland unite and do everything for the good of their country – the rear and the front are in the same formation. Those who left for foreign countries showed their true attitude to the Motherland.” The head of the department stressed that those who protest on social networks have not noticed for many years and still do not notice the problems of Donbass and the death of civilians at the Ukrainian military's hands.
The meeting with the students took place in a warm and sincere atmosphere. The girls shared their dreams and wishes. They expressed sincere gratitude for establishing the Girls' Boarding School, which has become a dearly beloved and cozy home for the students.
Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin thanked Elena Yurievna Garanina, director of the Boarding School, for commitment to official duties, high professionalism, and years of impeccable and effective service.
The students concluded the meeting with a concert program, in which they demonstrated their talents. The students presented poems and sang songs, some of which were written by them, for the attending audience. Alexander Ivanovich thanked the team for the excellent program and invited them to a tea party, where all the girls were presented with gifts and flowers in honor of the recent holiday.
