Chairman of the IC of Russia Instructs to Investigate Inflicting Injuries to Russian Journalist

According to the media reports, as a result of a shot fired by an AFU sniper, a military correspondent of Izvestia was wounded in the leg near Mariupol. This attempt on the Russian journalist's life confirms the Ukrainian military's intention to avoid public disclosure of the crimes they committed.

Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin has instructed the head of the Main Investigative Department to investigate this incident.

In accordance with the department head's orders, the investigators must take measures to identify the persons involved in committing this crime. As part of the criminal case investigation, all circumstances of the incident will be established, and the perpetrators will be punished as they deserve.
