Officials of Law Enforcement Agencies of Ukraine Who Made Illegal Decisions to Bring Russian MPs and Senators to Criminal Liability Have Been Identified

As part of a criminal case on the illegal prosecution of a number of Russian MPs and senators, the Main Investigative Department of the IC of Russia has identified officials of Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies who were involved in the commission of crimes under Part 2, Article 299 and Part 2, Article 301 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (bringing a knowingly innocent person to criminal liability; unlawful detention).

The list of those accused includes investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine, including Yury Bobulyak, Andriy Vygonny, Petro Zakharuk and SSU officers, who – in agreement with officials of the regional prosecutor’s offices of Ukraine, including Bogdan Burak, Andriy Ferents and others – initiated illegal criminal prosecution of the State Duma members and Senators of the Russian Federation under Part 3, Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The identification of other officials of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies involved in the illegal criminal prosecution is ongoing.
