The Investigative Committee of Russia will analyze, as part of a criminal case, new information articulated by the Russian Embassy in the United States regarding illegal military biological activities in Ukraine.

According to reports, from 2019 to 2021, American scientists at a laboratory in the city of Merefa, Kharkov Oblast, tested potentially hazardous biological drugs on patients at the regional clinical psychiatric hospital. Individuals with mental disorders were selected for experiments based on their age, ethnicity and immune status. There are testimonies of witnesses of these inhuman acts.

The Investigative Committee of Russia will request the available information from the Russian Foreign Ministry, and will also take actions to identify the persons who suffered from the above activities for their subsequent interrogation.
