The Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation launches a criminal case into an offence prescribed in Art 317 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (infringement on life of law enforcement official).

On April 23, 2022, the Ukrainian military conducted the targeted shelling from mortars and artillery at the Border Directorate Officers of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Kursk Region at the Tetkino border checkpoint; Russian Officers were protecting and guarding the State Border of the Russian Federation.

Currently, all necessary investigative actions are being carried aimed at indicating the circumstances and identification of persons, committed this crime.
