Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, instructed to launch a criminal case and submit a report on the shelling of settlements in Belgorod oblast by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to reports, on October 13, 2022, Ukrainian militants shelled Belgorod. As a result of it, the residential apartment building was damaged. An undetonated ordnance was also found on the sports ground of the local lyceum.

In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired the Krasnoye village in Shebekinsky urban raion, there are some destructions on the territory of the local school.

The projectile also hit a house in the Tavrovo village, Belgorod Oblast, a fire broke out at the scene.

Information about the casualities is being specified.

Investigators of the Russian Investigative Committee will document all facts and detect the circumstances of the crime, the actions of all individuals involved in it will be legally assessed.
