The Investigating Authorities of the Russian Investigative Committee launched a criminal investigation in accordance with Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules of air-traffic safety and violation of rules of airplane operation). The airplane crashed on a two-story residential building.
According to preliminary data, two test pilots died.
Investigators and Forensic Specialists of the Territorial Investigative Directorate and the Eastern Interregional Investigative Directorate for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation are working at the scene of crash.
The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee provided Forensic Investigators of the Main Directorate of the Department and Officers of the Forensic Center of the Russian Investigative Committee to provide practical assistance to the investigation.
