The Investigating Authorities of the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Federation for Primorsky Krai are investigating a criminal case on the negligence of the Management of the branch of the Federal Budgetary Institution of Science "National Scientific Center for Marine Biology" of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences - the Scientific and Educational Complex "Primorsky Oceanarium" in connection with the death of hydrobionts (aquatic organisms) on the territory of the oceanarium. Today, the media also reported the death of three stingrays. All this will also be legally assessed within the criminal investigation.

Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed Mr. V.V. Fomin, the Head of the Investigative Directorate of the ICR for Primorsky Krai, to submit a report on the progress of the criminal investigation and the circumstances detected at the moment.
