The Investigating Authorities of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Moscow Oblast are investigating a criminal case on the murder of a 6-year-old boy (paragraph "c", Part 2, Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The 14-year-old sister of the child was detained on suspicion of murder. On December 4, 2022, while in a house in one of the SNTs (Gardeners' Non-Commercial Partnership) of Bogorodsk Urban Okrug, the sister of a juvenile struck him on various parts of the body. The child died from his injuries.

Mr. A. I. Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed Mr. A. Yu. Starikov, Head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Moscow Oblast, to submit a report on the circumstances of the crime. The criminal investigation is a subject to control in the Main Directorate of the Department.
