Kirov Region Governor searched under the case of embezzlement of property of OAO Urzhumsky distillery

Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continues investigating a criminal case over signs of a crime under part 4 of article 160 of the RF Criminal Code – stealing of the state property by embezzlement of 25.5% of shares of OAO Urzhumsky distillery (OJSC).

At present investigators of Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee in cooperation with agents of Main Directorate of economic security and anti-corruption activity of the interior Ministry and Federal Security Service are searching the flat of Kirov Region Governor Nikita Belykh to find documents connected with alienation of the 90 million rubles underpriced share of stock previously owned by government of the Kirov Region. Based on the results of the search Belykh will be questioned.

The CEO of OOO Partner (LLC) Igor Burkov, Andrey Devyatyarov and the appraiser of the Kirov branch of Property Registration Bureau Marianna Popova were earlier held on suspicions of this crime. They were put into custody as a pretrial restraining measure.

Former director of state property of the Kirov Region Konstantin Arzamastsev is wanted.
