Kirov Region Governor Nikita Belykh searched

Today investigators of the Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee in cooperation with agents of the Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Activity Main Office of the Interior Ministry and Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation have searched the office of the Kirov Region Governor Nikita Belykh. During the search investigators seized the documents to be studied further in the investigation.

The questioning of Nikita Belykh is rescheduled for 30 January.

The search was undertaken as part of investigating a criminal case over signs of a crime under part 4 of article 160 of the RF Criminal Code – stealing of the state property by embezzlement of 25.5% of shares of OAO Urzhumsky distillery (OJSC). The CEO of OOO Partner (LLC) Igor Burkov, Andrey Devyatyarov and the appraiser of the Kirov branch of Property Registration Bureau Marianna Popova were earlier held on suspicions of this crime. They are in custody at present time.

Former director of state property of the Kirov Region Konstantin Arzamastsev is wanted.
