Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee under investigation of the criminal case over mass riots and use of violence against representatives of representatives of the authority on Bolotnaya Square in Moscow and plotting mass riots in a number of regions in Russia has passed a decision to prosecute Givi Targamadze, former head of defense and security of Georgian Parliament as the accused.

He is charged with plotting mass riots in the Russian Federation together with Sergey Udaltsov, Konstantin Lebedev, Leonid Razvozzhayev and other persons, that is a crime under part 1 of article 30 and part 1 of article 212 of the RF Criminal Code.

Due to the fact that Targamadze is a foreign citizen investigators could not prosecute him earlier, not having made sure that he didn’t have any kind of immunity. The Investigative Committee has received and official reply from the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation that Givi Targamadze has no immunity against being criminally prosecuted.

Today investigators have announced Targamadze wanted. In the near future they are going to file a petition on his arrest.
