Investigators had enough grounds to launch criminal proceedings against head of Rosrybolovstvo

Mr. Krayny’s allegation that the decision to dismiss Muravyov was made two weeks before his arrest is not true.

And investigators have irrefutable proofs of that. They will be produced in their time. Meanwhile there are objective reasons that do not allow us reveal the secret information. Now several expert examinations are being run and a number of investigating operations are under way which will enable us to procedurally consolidate as proofs the operative information about when and how the decisions on dismissing Muravyov were made, which violations of his the CEOs of Rosrybolovstvo had found.

So far I will tell one single fact to confirm mu words. The order on dismissing Muravyov was put in the computer of HR service on 25 May 2011. Bu the date of dismissing was 23 May. To hide it Krany gave orders to his subordinates to delete the real order of 23 May, and replace by the order dismissing Muravyov. Krayny chose the date especially: this was the day when Muravyov had come to Moscow and talked to his boss. But believe me, it was not about dismissing.

I have to upset Mr. Krayny: investigators have already got the conclusion of the expert examination showing that changes were indeed put in the computer to replace one order of 23 May with another, firing Muravyov post factum.

We perfectly understand that all the allegations of Mr. Krayny and his press-service are the attempts to influence the public opinion and by doing thus to put under question the fact of initiating the criminal case. This was the tactics representatives of Rosrybolovstvo chose in 2011, when we launched a case against Muravyov. Then their press-service raved about the fact that they themselves had revealed the crime and submitted the materials to the competent bodies. I will repeat that this was stuff and nonsense. The crime was revealed during long operative work and the criminal case initiated today against Krayny is the logical end of this operative work and the materials collected. So I would like to advise Mr. Krayny not to enter public discussion, but tell frankly about the events of those days. I am sure investigators will appreciate this step of the accused.
