In Tomsk Region criminal investigation launched in robbery-related murder of money collector

The Tomsk Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a criminal investigation into robbery-related homicide of a money collector in the city of Tomsk (paragraph “h” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code).

According to investigators, today at 8 PM, an unidentified person assaulted two money collectors of the Sberbank of Russia in the office of the Lenta shopping mall in Mira prospekt, 30 in the city of Tomsk. The robber stole 3 million 300 thousand rubles and fled the scene.

An investigating team, Head of the Tomsk Region Investigations Directorate Vladimir Litvinenko, Head of Special Cases Department and acting Head of Crime Investigations Directorate of Tomsk set off for the scene immediately.

At present the investigators are working at the scene. Investigating operations are under way to find out all the circumstances of the crime and identify the assailant. The investigation is ongoing.
