Currently Murmansk Region Investigations Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee is investigating 4 criminal cases over crimes committed in the area of housing and communal facilities and fuel and energy industry of the region. Losses from the criminal actions by the accused are more than 2 billion rubles.
Murmansk Region investigating bodies are investigating a criminal case against former CEO of Kolenergosbyt company Gennady Shubin charged with a crime under part 4 of article 164 of the RF Criminal Code (misappropriation or embezzlement on an especially large scale).
In addition criminal investigation is carried on against CEO OOO Managing Company Housing and Communal Services of Olenegorsk (LLC) accused of non-paying more than 36 million rubles to municipal resource supplying enterprise for the supplied heat energy; against CEO of OOO KRES-Alliance (LLC) Ruslan Chervyakov over embezzlement of no less than 337 million rubles received from final consumers of power on needs not connected with payments to resource supplying organizations; and against deputy of Murmansk Region Duma Dmitry Gavrikov charged with attempted stealing of property from OAO Murmansk Region Power Selling Company worth more than 1.9 billion rubles.
As part of investigation of these criminal cases Shubin it going to be checked on being involved in the abovementioned crimes.
Investigating operations to collect evidence and find all the circumstances of the crimes. Investigation is to be continued.
