Chairman of Investigative Committee holds personal reception of citizens in Moscow

The Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee held personal reception of citizens on 10 April 2013 in Moscow. 30 citizens from Moscow city, Moscow, Vladimir, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Sakhalin, Smolensk Regions, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, republics of Sakha (Yakutia) and Tatarstan and other regions. During the reception which took from 11 AM to 8 PM Mr. Bastrykin personally received 23 citizens, officials of the Central Office - 7.

The most of complaints addressed to Mr. Bastrykin during the personal reception concerned illegal actions of the police, procedural decisions made over criminal cases in proceedings at the investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee.

Based on the results of the personal reception Mr. Bastrykin gave explicit orders to heads of a number of territorial investigating bodies. Progress of reviewing all accepted complaints and application is under personal control of the Chairman.
