Based on preliminary results of examination site of the fire in Burnaksky psychoneurologic hospital and after a number of circumstances were specified, Tambov Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have taken a decision to change qualifications of actions and launch a criminal case over part 1 of article 109 of the RF Criminal Code (manslaughter).

It was earlier reported that on 1 May 2013 at night, at 4:45 AM, a blaze flared in Burnaksky psychoneurologic hospital situated in Zherdevsky district, Tambov Region. The fire killed 1 person, burned down 1 room and slightly burned the hall of the hospital. 52 people were immediately evacuated.

At present an investigating group is working at the scene. Investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
