Alexander Bastrykin demands head of Leningrad Region Investigations Directorate to explain his actions

The Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee is going to take tough measures over red-tape allowed by leadership of the Leningrad Region Investigations Directorate in the check into legality of sale of part of Siversky forest.

Mr. Bastrykin has also demanded explanations from the head of the Directorate Vladimir Loskutov over another decision concerning re-qualification of the actions by the head of municipality Toksovskoye urban community of Vsevolzhsky municipal district L. Kolesnik for less serious article of the RF Criminal Code and the reasons why detention was replaced for a pledge not to leave the country.

Mr. bastrykin is going to receive citizens in the Leningrad Region Investigations Directorate on 9 August 2013 and is ready to listen to the protectors of Siversky forest in person, as well as all citizens on their specific problems including those connected with the decisions taken in the Directorate.
