Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has charged Khalimat and Magomed Rasulov with a crime under article 317 of the RF Criminal Code (encroachment on the life of a law enforcement agent).

We remind that on 27 July 2013, at Matveyevsky market place police officers were trying to detain Magomed Magomedov on suspicion of raping an underage girl in Minsky Street in Moscow. At this moment the accused trying to release Magomedov beat up one of the police officers. The man was delivered to a hospital with a brain injury. The same day Khalimat Rasulova was detained on the suspicion of the said crime. She refused to testify, but her guilt is proved not only by the testimonies of witnesses, but a video showing how she beats up the police officer. The second assailant Magomed Rasulov born in 1979 was detained on 29 July 2013.

On the request of the investigators a court ruled to place Khalimat and Magomed Rasulov into custody as a pretrial restraining measure.
