Criminal case against air rowdy Andrey Tretyakov passed from Interior Ministry in Investigative Committee

To all appearance the guilty verdict over Sergey Kabalov has not become a lesson for another air rowdy. Considering wide public resonance provoked by a criminal case in illegal actions of Andrey Tretyakov aboard an aircraft, it has been withdrawn from the proceedings of the Russian Interior Ministry by a decision of prosecutor and passed for investigation to North Siberian Transport Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee.

Thought the charges of hooliganism are not likely to be reclassified, investigators intend to investigate the case thoroughly, impartially, adhering to the principles, taking into account all the danger the passengers of the plane were exposed to. The investigators have no doubts that they will be able to gather enough evidence to press the charges and send the case to court which will give Tretyakov’s actions final classification.

Until such actions of air rowdies end up by a tragedy, I want once again to warn such “heroes”, who being drunk try to show themselves tough guys before law-abiding citizens in planes: such “exploits” will lead at least to a criminal proceeding and at most to an arrest. By the way, in the near future the investigators are going to ask the court to remand Tretyakov in custody. If the court satisfies this petition, I think, the man will have a chance to show his tough-guy behavior to the absolutely different audience.
