A 5-year-old girl went missing in the town of Nakhodka in the evening of 19 May 2014. During the search operation the girl’s dead body with the signs of violent death was found in the woods near Mayakovsky street in Nakhodka. The Primorye Territory investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a criminal investigation in a crime under paragraph “c” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder).

An 18-year-old local resident has been detained on suspicion of the crime.

Investigating operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the crime. Forensic expert examinations have been set up. Investigation is ongoing.

Officers of the Primorye Territory Office of the Russian Interior Ministry are carrying out the operational support to the investigation.
