In Primorye Territory investigation launched in accident with child in abandoned park

The Primorye Territory investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a criminal investigation into negligent actions by officials of Nakhodka city district administration (part 1 of article 293 of the RF Penal Code).

According to investigators, on 11 May 2014, a 7-year-old boy was riding a roundabout in the Central city culture and entertainment park, when he sustained serious injuries to his lower limbs. The roundabouts had not been used for a long time and had not been fixed.

Measures are being taken to identify an official responsible for negligence resulting in grievous consequences. Investigation is ongoing.

The operational support of the investigation is carried out by the officers of the Primorye Territory Office of the Russian Interior Ministry.
