In Primorye Territory criminal case finished against former official of local administration

The Primorye Territory investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have finished investigating a criminal case against a former 1st category specialist of the office for economics, management of municipal property, architecture and town building of Krasnoarmeysk municipal district administration. She is charged with a crime under part 1 of article 293 of the RF Penal Code (negligence).

According to investigators, in the period between July and November 2012, the accused did not checked the amount and quality of the work in building a school for 440 students in the village of Roshchino in Krasnoarmeysk district in Primorye Territory and agreed the nearly 17 million rubles worth acceptance certificates, while in fact the work had not been done or done with significant violations. However, the construction firm was paid the said sum from the budget. Because of the negligence of the accused, school children of Roshchino for a long time have been studying in a building not meeting sanitary and hygiene requirements.

The investigators have gathered enough evidence, therefore, the criminal case with the approved indictment has been sent to court to be tried on the merits.
