The Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has launched a criminal investigation into injuries sustained by a 4-year-old girl while bathing in a fountain as containing sighs of a crime under part 2 of article 118 of the RF Penal Code (negligent infliction of grievous bodily harm due to improper discharged of official duties).

According to investigators, yesterday about 06:30 PM, the girl was bathing in a fountain near a shopping mall on Leninskaya sloboda and got into a sewer not covered with anything. At present the girl is in resuscitation department of a children’s hospital.

At present investigating operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
