Massive special tactics field exercises were held in Sverdlovsk Region in the premises of a former military unit near the town of Asbest. Officials of the Sverdlovsk Region Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee, internal affairs bodies of four subjects of the Ural Federal District, regional offices of the Federal Security Service, Emergencies Ministry, Federal Drug Control Service, Federal Migration Service, Federal Penitentiary Service and representatives of the regional command of interior forces took part in the exercises.
The exercises involved two helicopters, drones and other specialized equipment. From the Sverdlovsk Region Investigations Directorate the exercises were attended by Deputy Head of the Directorate Colonel of Justice A.I. Kolbasin, Head of Forensic Office Captain of Justice N.M. Savintsev, criminalists A.S. Kostromin, A.S. Kaygorodov, V.A. Yudin, special investigators V.P. Krivonogov, D.V. Babeshko, investigators of district investigations offices for the city of Yekaterinburg A.I. Khalilov and M.M. Filatov.
According to the scenario the investigation team coordinated by Deputy Head of the Sverdlovsk Region Investigations Directorate A.I. Kolbasin had to examine an incident scene after a hostage release special operation.
The team investigated the area of about 400 square meters, using various forensic equipment: expert light, a metal detector, a 3D-camera, digital cameras, a UFED forensic set. The team arrived to the scene on two special vehicles – mobile forensic laboratories.
Mr. Kolbasin, who coordinated the operation, appreciated the work of investigators and criminalists, noting efficiency and quality of the operation.
