In Orenburg Region graduates of Young Investigator School take final exams

The Young Investigator School of the Orenburg Region Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee was established in July 2012.

57 law students of the Orenburg Region studied and obtained practical skills of investigating job during 2 years at the courses of “Elementary investigation training” and “In-depth investigation training”.

A few days ago graduates of both the Young Investigator School and universities took the first final examination.

The exam started with a solemn formation. The graduates were welcomed by Head of the Investigations Directorate Sergey Kolotov. He wished law students success in the tests and to demonstrate the whole range of practical skills mastered during the courses.

The jury consisted of representatives HR service, forensic office and council of investigation veterans.

12 young women and men stood before the authoritative commission to demonstrate their knowledge of criminalistics, criminal and criminal procedure law. Officials of the forensic office improvised a training crime scene in the area adjacent to the building of the Directorate. That was where exam started with the examination of the crime scene. Then it was continued in the conference room, where the students answered theory questions and made drafts of certain procedural documents.

Students of the course “In-depth investigation training” demonstrated proper knowledge of their subject, which the commission evaluated as excellent.

In the near future the graduates are going to receive certificates at a special ceremony.

Leadership, officials and veterans of investigation congratulate first graduates of the School on its ending and wish them success in their service in the system of the Russia’s Investigative Committee.
