Officials of the Sakhalin Region Investigations Directorate have visited children’s home No 2 patronized by the Directorate.

On May 22, 2014, in the recreation center in the village of Troitskoye, where the facility is located, the staff and inmates of the children’s home made a public report on the successes achieved over the year. The children also prepared a concert for the guests.

On May 23 there was a football match between young athletes and investigators in the premises of the facility. Although the great difference in age and the fact that in their team the forward player was a girl, the children were not going to give up and fought back. The match ended 5:7 to investigators.

At the final assembly Head of the Investigations Directorate Alexander Zabolichenko thanked the children for a good game and congratulated them on the ending of school year and the International Children’s Day. After that the young footballers received cups and letters of commendations for partaking in the match. In addition they got trainers and sweets.
