The Investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee for the Novosibirsk Region have launched a criminal investigation into a crime under paragraph “d” of part 2 of article 126 (kidnapping).

According to investigators, on 18 August of 2014, a resident of Kemerovo Region, being in a house in the village of Kochenevo, saw a 4-year-old boy in the yard and tried to take him to her house. It was found out that the suspect, who provided sexual services on the federal motorway, got drunk and kidnapped the boy, as she has no children of her own.

The suspect was arrested during investigative operations. The child is safe and sound and was returned to his parents.

At the moment the investigator is gathering the evidence to confirm the suspect’s involvement in the crime.
