The investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee for the Voronezh Region have opened a criminal investigation in a crime under paragraph “c” of part 2 of article 238 of the RF Penal Code (providing services that do not meet health and life safety standards involving death of a person by negligence).

According to investigators on 22 August 2014, a 4-year-old boy was in the aquapark Fishka with his relatives and swam in a pool. Around 8:20 PM, the boy was left unattended by either his relatives or the staff of the aquapark and drowned.

During the prove the investigators are going to take all measures to find out all the circumstances of the incident, causes and conditions contributing to the crime and identify the persons responsible for it.

The progress of the investigation is kept under special control by the senior officials of the Voronezh Region Investigations Directorate.
